Thinsy Virutal Confernece – Software Version 2.6.4. Document Version 1.0

Installing Thinsy Virutal Confernece on Bare hardware has three major steps:

1. Operating System Installation

Download CentOS 5.5 ISO software.
The CentOS 5.5 need to be installed on the servers on which you want to run Thinsy Virtual Conference.

(* While installing CentOS 5.5 ensure that the ‘SELinux’ is disabled)

2. Additional RPMs required

Additional RPMs required for Thinsy Virtual Conference RPM over the base CentOS Server installation.

After downloading this tar file, copy it on a directory in one of the servers which will function as VM Thinsy Virtual Conference Server.

Install the RPMs following the instructions below:

tar -xvzf thinsyvc-required-rpms.tar.gz
cd thinsyvc-required-rpms
rpm -ivh *.rpm

3. Installing Thinsy Virtual Conference

Download Thinsy Virtual Conference RPM and install it on the same server

Install the RPMs following the instructions below:

rpm -ivh ThinsyVirtualConference-2.6.4-b786.i386.rpm
